The Interaction Designer at Philips Design fulfills the role
as an Information Architect to diagram the hierarchies,

layer or interface of an application. Typical deliverables
include site maps, user profiles, user scenarios,
wireframes, and functional specifications.

The Interaction Designer at Philips Design also works as a
Web Developer/Visual Designer to initiate and complete the
prototyping process. This involves building working examples
of the interface with the given media of an application. For
a website, this may mean coding HTML and JavaScript or Flash
and Action Scripting in addition to influencing the visual
direction along with the Senior Visual Designer. Often,
several iterations of prototypes are tested with users
before a final prototype is approved. During finalization,
the Interaction Designer completes further testing for
quality assurance of a product to ensure that the final
product meets the business requirements and users' needs.
